Background

I am a new writer and director based in Edinburgh. I have written serveral short scripts, and I am currently working on three feature length screenplays. My short films have been screened at international festivals and I was winner of the EIFF sponsored 'Best Director' award at the 2011 Edinburgh 48-hour film project.

One brave Scottish builder makes a stand against a new EU rule regarding the size of a builder's bum crack.

January 2012

Free Crack was screened at the British Shorts Film Festival in Berlin.

November 2011

Somebody's Daughter has been short listed for Best Drama and will be offically screened in competition at the Super Shorts International Film Festival 2011. Somebody's Daughter will also be eligible for the Grand Prix award for best film.

October 2011

Somebody's Daughter was screened at the Thief of Brisco Presents short film night at the Cameo cinema.

At the awards party on Monday 30th May I was pleased to receive the Edinburgh International Film Festival Best Director award for our 48hr short film Free Crack.

Took part in the 2011 48 hour film project in Edinburgh. I directed the mockumentry Free Crack for EyeDoll productions, which was screened at the Cameo cinema on Wednesday 25th May.
